Educational Highlights:  Science, Geology, Volcanology, Energy conservation, and Photography/Videography.

Almost 100 % of the electricity consumed in Iceland comes from renewable energy? Come photograph Iceland’s wild places while learning about its unique geological makeup.
Iceland is in a category of its own. This place is rugged and enchanting! From its coastlines to its high places, Iceland has much to offer. Discover black sand beaches filled with icebergs and explore an old abandoned DC-3 plane! Drive around the Golden Circle, stopping at iconic hiking sites, natural geysers, waterfalls, and thermal pools. Our professional guides and photographer will be there with you teaching onsite photography/videography to improve your knowledge and skills. Take in the mesmerizing aurora borealis, catch a glimpse of puffins in their natural habitat, walk along epic cliffs and coastlines. Learn how Viking explorers settled Iceland in the 9th century. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit to soak in one of Iceland’s thermal pools, many of which are unmarked and off the beaten path. This journey will leave a lasting impression and most likely allure you back for a second time.
We can tailor a unique and unforgettable visit for your group to this extraordinary island.

Loved the food options, lots of variety. A great mix of relaxation, fun, and education. Jeremy is absolutely professional, fun, attentive, engaging, and everything you would wish for in a tour director! I can not recommend using this program for school trips enough! It was a wonderful balance of fun and education for our students. It created an experience that will last them a lifetime and that they will remember fondly for years to come! Thank you so much!

Seriously - nothing could have gone better. It was such a wonderful experience. The way you were able to accommodate our late additions and families is so impressive.  Thank you!!! I think the students and parents really felt like the trip was first class and worth the cost. IMJ would be my first recommendation to any school.

I have heard nothing but good things from the kids. Cam said it was the greatest spring session the school has run yet. (Cam's mom also sent an email letting me know how appreciative she was of the consideration for Cam's dietary restrictions). Angela said it was the best possible way she could think of to wrap up her senior year at CHCH.

Variety was great; amount of activities we squeezed into four days was great. I loved the challenging and fun nature of the big hike at Section 16, the whitewater rafting, and the horseback riding. It was nice to mix in some lower-energy activities that allowed the kids a bit more sense of freedom, like the hot springs, and Manitou Springs.
